At Rent-A-Tent, we’re always ready to listen. That’s why if you have any questions, comments, or words of wisdom concerning our business, just give us a call and someone will be happy to assist you! Even so, sometimes a quick answer to a simple question is all you need. Your wish has been granted--our brief, Frequently Asked Questions page will soon set you aright!

Q.1. When I order a tent, what exactly am I renting?

A.1. Regardless of size, style, or color, all of our basic tents consist of an aluminum frame covered on the top with a vinyl canopy. For additional equipment such as lighting, sides, heaters, and more, visit our Accessories page.

 

Q.2. How many people can I fit under a tent?

A.2. It all depends on what sized tent you order and that, naturally, depends on how many people you have.

 

Q.3. Say I have 80 people invited to my annual Fourth of July Barbecue. What sized tent should I get?

A.3. Our seating information listed with each tent on the Tent & Accessories page is quite useful as far as guest accommodations are concerned. Consider, though, that a large tent isn’t always necessary, especially if guests are coming and going.

 

Q.4. Do you have any different colored tents?

A. 4. Most of our tents are white, but we also have a Red and White and a Yellow and White tents available in the 20’X30’ size.

 

Q.5. Do you deliver the tents? Set them up? Take them down?

A.5. All of the above! Just let us know where you’d like it to be installed and we’ll make sure it’s up and ready to go the day before your event!

 

Q.6. Is there a delivery fee?

A.6. Not if your event is located in the Greater Johnstown Area there isn’t. A travel fee proportional to any extra distance may be added for regions beyond that limit.

 

Q.7. Do you rent out anything besides tents?

A.7. Lots, actually! Details about chairs, lights, heaters, staging, and more can be found on our Accessories page.

 

Q.8. Do you set up the items from the Accessories page?

A.8. Well be more than happy to install the lights, sides, staging, and heaters, but we’ve found that it’s best if we let your decorative/economical eye establish where you’ll put the tables and chairs.

 

Q.9. Do you have more than one kind of lighting?

A.9. Yes! We're happy to offer three different types of luminaries to brighten your day (or night):

String Lighting--our most popular seller

Bright Lighting--great for late night festivities

Chandelier Lighting--A stunning and beautiful touch worthy of your most formal occasions.

 

Q.10. Can I order more than one tent at a time?

A.10. Where do you want it? Multiple tents are no problem at all! Some of our most creative clients have done amazing things with the additional coverage including the creation of walkways? and aisles.

Q.11. How soon before my event should I book my order?

A.11. The sooner the better; some of our customers even book their parties months in advance! Particularly if your event falls on or near a holiday, the quicker you contact us, the better your chances of securing a date.
